Create detailed macrocycles (annual training plan) with only a few clicks.

Macrocycles allow you a full picture of the training process, by dividing a long-term training period into a series of manageable phases. This way, you’re able to handle the goal and training load  of each period, avoiding guesswork.

Step 1

Select the athlete you want to build the macrocycle for.

NOTE: A prerequisite for this step is that your athlete has already registered at least one race
 on their races list.

Step 2

Click on the “Μacrocycle” option at the left hand side menu. You’ll be transferred to the macrocycle section, where you’ll see a summary description of each one of the periodization phases.

Step 3

Click on the “CREATE MACROCYCLE” button.

Step 4

Fill in the following information:

NOTE: There’s a tooltip that explains each one of the following parameters, in detail. Just hover your mouse over any of them and a description will appear.

A. Select the race you want to apply the macrocycle to. In the drop-down menu you’ll find all the races your athlete has already registered. Once you’ve selected the one you need, the date and the time of the race will automatically be added into the preceding field.

B. Fill in the Starting Date of the macrocycle (NOTE: There needs to be a lead time of 16 weeks minimum — and 36 weeks maximum — from the date of the event)

C. Select Traditional periodization or Custom periodization, as you see fit

D. Select the preferred sports (NOTE: We have pre-selected for you the sports your athlete had originally opted for)

E. Choose the Recovery Cycle model you prefer. (NOTE: You may also hover your mouse over the tooltip, to find out more about each one of them)

F. Define the Starting hours and the Hour at peak (max hours per week) for this macrocycle.

G. Select the phase you want to emphasize on.

H. Define the Time spent per Sport (how weekly workout time will be distributed in each one of the sports).

Step 5

Click on “GENERATE MACROCYCLE” to create your athlete’s macrocycle.

Once the macrocycle is generated, you are then redirected to a different screen view of it, where you are able to modify all of its parameters (workout hours, percentage values per zone, goals etc.)
When you’ve finished editing everything to your needs, just click on
“Save” to return to the previous screen view.

Now, you should see a visual summary of your macrocycle.

Click on “Calendar” to return to your athlete’s calendar. There, you’ll now be able to see a summary of the macrocycle you just created. More specifically, for each one of the weeks your training plan spans, you’ll be able to see the hours per sport, the intensity distribution, along with the week's tag (build, base, taper etc.).

Apart from the overview of the training program you’ve just built for your athlete, you’ll also be able to see its execution, up to this point.
