Cases you may need to deactivate an athlete
You may deactivate one or more athletes for any of the following reasons:
To reduce your costs for a while, you’ll need to decrease the number of athletes you coach using our app.
Downgrading from a premium plan to our Free plan, you can continue coaching one athlete, for free. That means that you’ll have to pause your coaching (via ScienceTraining) for one or more athletes.
If you’ve been using a pricing plan with a time-limited discount and now you want to suspend your coaching for one or more athletes.
When you or one of your athletes decided to pause your partnership for a while.
In situations such as the aforementioned, you may choose to deactivate a number of athletes for a while. Note here that if you change your mind and want to reactivate them, you may do so in a few clicks. You will be able to see your past data, too.
Step 1: Go to your Settings
Make sure you’re on the “Invitations” tab
Step 2: Select the athlete you want to deactivate
Find the athlete you want to deactivate.
Step 3: Deactivate the athlete
Hover your mouse over their name and click on the “Delete” button and you’ll have the ScienceTraining coaching partnership with your athlete paused. It’s that simple!
For as long as you keep an athlete deactivated, you won’t be able to see them in your Athletes’ drop-down list; nor will you be able to see their training plans or any other information related to them.
