At times, you’ll have an athlete that needs to take a break from their training program, due to an injury, force majeure or for personal reasons. These are not athletes that have ceased their business relationship with you. As such, you wouldn’t want to delete them from your list of athletes, having to re-invite them back when they’re ready. But, depending on how much time they’re taking off, you may need to stop receiving emails and notifications about them — just, until they come back to it. That’s when muting an athlete comes in handy.
How to mute an athlete
Step 1: Find the athlete
Navigate to Settings > Invitations.
Go to Athletes list and use the scrollbar on the right to find the Athlete you want to mute.
Step 2: Mute the athlete
Hover your mouse over the name of the Athlete you want to mute and then click on the Mute option on the pop-up menu.
Your Athlete has now been muted. You’ll still be able to see all the Athletes you have muted in your Athlete List.
NOTE:
Muted athletes do take up a slot in your general account capacity. That means that muting an athlete will not free up space for you to squeeze in a new athlete. The mute feature is not a cost management feature. It only aims to minimize your overhead. You’ll continue getting charged for any number of muted athletes, in your monthly or annual subscription.
How to un-mute an athlete
Step 1: Find the athlete
Navigate to Settings > Invitations, go to your Athletes list at the right-hand side of your screen and find the Athlete you want to unmute.
You’ll see a handy mute icon at the right-hand side of the names of the athletes you have muted.
Step 2: Un-mute the athlete
Hover your mouse over the name of the Athlete you want to unmute and click on the Unmute option on the pop-up menu.
And, that's all there is to it!
