If you need to change or readjust your athlete’s training zones just follow the steps below:

(NOTE: your athletes can change their training zones on their own from their account, but as a coach you may take control of your athletes’ zones, if needed)

1.Select athlete whose training zones you need to adapt

Click on the “Athletes list” on the left hand side of your screen (you can also use it as a search tool) and select an athlete, by clicking on their name

2. Move on to the Zones Settings

Click on the “Zones” button at the left hand side of your screen and you’ll move on the Zones Settings page

3. Select the preferred method

From the Zone Settings page, you can choose one of the following methods:

  1. Training zones determined by Heart Rate, at Lactate Threshold

  2. Training zones determined by Pace, at lactate threshold

  3. Training zones based on Rate of Perceived Exertion (RPE)

4. Set the training zones

Once you click on your preferable method of training you are then ready to set your training zones accordingly.

Let’s take a look at how you can adapt your athlete’s training zones for the Heart Rate at lactate threshold method:

Adapting the Heart Rate at lactate threshold zones

If you’ve selected the “Heart Rate at lactate threshold” method, you can modify zones as follows:

  1. Insert the Heart Rate value corresponding to lactate threshold (HR at LT), then click the “Update Threshold” button and the training zones will updated automatically

  1. Insert HR at LT value and customize the percentage limits to your preference. This will give you the opportunity to fully individualize all the training zones for your athlete, as you see fit.

 5. Save and update zones’ limits

Click on the “Save zone limits” button to save the new training zones

Restore training zones’ to default values

 * You can always restore the default limits, by clicking on the “Reset to defaults” button

Adapting zones with the other methods

You can follow the same procedure for setting up the training zones, based on “pace at lactate threshold” (we recommend that you set up for both training zone methods)

Athletes adapting their zones

The exact same procedure can be followed by your athletes, directly from their account.
